Chain-reaction crash in Jackson Township

One person was injured in a chain-reaction crash in Jackson Township Saturday night.

Police said the incident began around 10:30 p.m. when a 2002 Toyota Corolla spun on Golden Slipper Road. Police said the driver, a 21-year-old woman from Effort, lost control on ice.

As that car came to a stop in the road, another driver in a 2007 Ford F-150, a 56-year-old Effort man, lost control on the ice, striking the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries in that crash. No further information was available.
