Edmond, OK : Guthrie man dies in collision on February, Sunday 18th 2018

A fatality collision occurred shortly after 11 p.m., Sunday on the ramp at mile marker 153 of U.S. Interstate 35 in Guthrie, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Adam Been, 42, of Guthrie was pronounced dead at the scene, OHP reported. Been died of massive injuries while driving his 2015 Indian Chieftain, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Been’s vehicle was on the northbound on ramp to I-35 when he departed the ramp, striking the ditch. He was projected from the vehicle into the outside land of I-35 northbound, OHP stated. His condition was reported as normal, but was driving too fast without seatbelts on a wet roadway, OHP reported.

Two other vehicles at the scene are under investigation.
