TILDEN TOWNSHIP, PA : Car roof removed in crash in Tilden Township on Friday, 19th October 2018

The roof of a passenger vehicle had to be removed to access children trapped in the back seat after the car was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer hauling equipment in Tilden Township.

Crews were dispatched about 4:45 p.m. to the area of Route 61 north at the end of the eastbound exit ramp for Interstate 78 for the report of a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Emergency responders at the scene indicated two children were entrapped inside a vehicle that was rear-ended by the rig. Initial reports indicated they were not responsive.

Two adults and another child were reportedly outside the vehicle with injuries.
