Reisterstown, MD : 37-year-old woman died after a truck struck on Route 30 in Reisterstown on Monday morning, Aug 10, 2015

A 37-year-old woman is dead after a crash on Route 30 in Reisterstown on Monday morning, Baltimore County police said.

The victim was identified as Neely Tal Snyder of Pikesville.

The crash happened shortly before 7:30 a.m., police said. Snyder, who was traveling north on Route 30 in a Hyundai Elantra, stopped and was waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Mt. Gilead Road when a Peterbilt tractor struck her vehicle from behind.

The truck driver was not injured.

Snyder was taken to Shock Trauma, where she was pronounced dead.

Route 30 was shut down for several hours following the crash.

Once the police department's crash team finishes its investigation, they will forward their findings to the State's Attorney's office to determine whether any charges will be filed, police said.
