Bismarck, ND : A Fargo man was injured in a vehicle crash in Ransom County on Sunday, May 28, 2017

A Fargo man was injured Sunday evening in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Ransom County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 7:55 p.m., when Taylor Wixo, 24, was heading west in a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 800. The Polaris went off the gravel shoulder of 73rd Street and 133rd Avenue Southeast, about 5 miles southeast of Lisbon, N.D., the patrol said. The patrol said Wixo attempted to steer the Polaris back onto the roadway and rolled it.

Wixo was injured and transported to CHI Lisbon Health by Lisbon Ambulance Service.

Wixo was charged with operating an off-highway vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, the patrol said.

The Ransom County Sheriff’s Office and Lisbon Fire Department also responded to the scene.
