Onondaga,MI :One dead in Onondaga Road crash in Ingham County on September, Wednesday 13th 2017

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a man who died in a single-car crash this morning near Onondaga.

Cyle Rinckey, 25, of Eaton Rapids died when his small SUV left southbound Onondaga Road to the right shoulder, re-entered the road, and again left the road onto the right shoulder and struck a tree.

A passerby notice the SUV on its side against the tree and called 911.

Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

UPDATE (6:05 a.m.) – Onondaga Road is now open following the fatal crash this morning.

INGHAM CO., Mich (WLNS) – One person is dead following a car crash in Onondaga township in Ingham County.

It happened shortly after 2 a.m. today on Onondaga Road just north of Stimson Road.

There are multiple emergency vehicles still on the scene.

According to police this was a single vehicle crash.

The driver lost control and hit a tree.

You can expect a portion of Onondaga Road to be closed for while investigators process the scene.
