Reform ,AL : School bus driver killed and 15 others injured after School bus Crash on Saturday ,April 11th 2015

A school bus driver in Alabama has died from injuries she suffered in a crash that hurt 15 other people.

Alabama State Patrol Trooper Reginal King said 58-year-old Sharon Beard Hood died shortly after midnight Saturday at UAB Birmingham Hospital.

She was injured Friday afternoon when the school bus she was driving collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox about eight miles west of Reform. The bus went off the road and struck a tree.

The other driver, 30-year-old Daniel Alexander Bunch, was taken to Memorial Baptist Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi, for treatment.

King said 14 passengers on the bus were treated for injuries at other hospitals.

State troopers were still investigating the cause of the crash Saturday.
