SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 killed, 2 injured in Capital City Freeway crash on Monday, 17th June 2019

One man is dead two others were injured in a crash that closed the Capital City Freeway early Monday morning.

The driver of a Honda Accord was heading north when he was involved in a single-vehicle crash in the fast lane of the freeway and center wall, according to the California Highway Patrol.Another man pulled over to the right-hand shoulder, just north of E Street, and ran into the freeway to help the driver when a third car came into the area and hit both men, who were standing near the crashed car.

The driver of the wrecked car was killed and the good Samaritan was injured in the collision.
