A motorist was killed Monday morning when he rolled his SUV on a rural western Wisconsin road, officials say.

Aaron J. Thompson, 27, of rural Milltown, was northbound in a Chevrolet Trailblazer on 220th Street in Polk County shortly before 9 a.m., according to a news release from the Polk County sheriff’s office. As it passed 240th Avenue, the SUV left the roadway and struck a driveway, which launched it into the air, the news release said.
