Knoxville, TN : Motorcyclist sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries after crash on Monday night August 18th 2014
A crash in west Knoxville sent a motorcyclist to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Knoxville police said as a car turned onto Montvue Road from West Town Mall late Monday night, a speeding motorcycle topped the hill, went down on its side, and hit the rear of the car.
The motorcyclist, 23-year-old Etimlin Phillips, was driving on a suspended license, according to the Knoxville police. Phillips suffered critical injuries, but the driver of the car was unharmed.
