Washington County , TN : 42- Years old person was killed in Headon crash at Highway 107 on Friay morning , January 9th 2014

A Jonesborough man was killed in a head-on crash on Tennessee Highway 107 in southwestern Washington County this morning after he swerved to avoid an oncoming car that had crossed the center line, a sheriff's deputy reported.

Thomas Clay, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash was reported about 7:40 a.m. near Clark's Creek Road.

He was driving a Chevrolet S10 pickup and struck a Honda Accord driven by Ricky Morrow, 43, 1120 Marbleton Rd. Unicoi. Morrow was injured in the crash, airlifted from the scene and was in stable condition at a local hospital.
