Center, MO : Teen injured in a one-vehicle crash south of Center on Friday, May 6, 2016

A Center teen was injured late Friday in a one-vehicle crash that happened south of Center.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded at 11:45 p.m. to a crash scene two miles south of Center on Route P.

Police said Adam D. Black, 16, was driving north on Route P when the 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee he was driving ran off the left side of the road, overturned and struck a tree. Black was transported by Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia with moderate injuries. Police do not know if he was wearing a seat belt. Police said his vehicle was totalled in the crash.

The Ralls County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
