Memphis, TN : Pedestrian killed in I-55 hit and run identified on Thursday September 15 2016

Jackson police have identified 37-year-old Jason Dean Warren as the pedestrian hit and killed on I-55 on Thursday.

Police are still searching for the driver responsible for hit and run. Warren's body was found lying in the northbound lanes between the Beasley and County Line Road exits at around 5 a.m.

He had been hit by multiple vehicles. All northbound lanes were shutdown while investigators collected evidence.
