North Naples, FL : 75-year-old Naples woman died after T-bone crash at Orange Blossom Drive on Wednesday evening, Nov 4, 2015

A 75-year-old Naples woman died in the hospital after a crash at a major intersection Wednesday evening.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Toyota Sienna heading east drove into the path of a Jeep Wrangler while attempting to make a left turn at Orange Blossom Drive.

The Jeep hit the right side of the Toyota, where Carolyn Nelson was sitting. She was transported to North Collier Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Her driver, Kenneth Nelson, 76, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, Hunter Batson, 19, was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

Charges include violation of right-of-way and having an expired tag.
