POCATELLO, ID : Car crashes into storage facility in Pocatello; 1 person injured on April, Tuesday 11th 2017
One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a three-car wreck that ended with one of the vehicles crashing into a storage unit facility.
The crash occurred about 2 p.m. at the intersection of West Cedar Street and McKinley Avenue.
According to Pocatello police, a brown van heading east on West Cedar Street ran a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck that was heading north on McKinley Avenue.
The force of the crash sent the pickup into another truck that was stopped at the intersection, while the brown van continued on before ending up in a Wildwood Mini-Storage unit.
The names of the drivers involved in the crash have not been released. The driver of the brown van was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello with unspecified injuries.
Police said witnesses saw the brown van traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash. However, police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
