McIntosh, AL : Teen killed after car flips near McIntosh on Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014
A McIntosh teen died early Wednesday morning after he flipped a car while driving on U.S. Highway 43, according to Alabama State Troopers.
Benjamin Andrew Lewis wasn't wearing a seat belt when he crashed about 3.5 miles south of McIntosh, said Trooper Kevin Cook.
He was driving a 2003 Toyota Tacoma when he left the roadway near the 34.6 mile marker, Cook said. He made it back to the road but apparently lost control. The car overturned.
Troopers did not say what caused Lewis to veer off the roadway.
