Joplin,MO : Area accidents injure six people on June, Wednesday 14th 2017
Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 90, 2 miles west of Jane in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Jase Arthur, 7, of Noel, suffered moderate injuries, while driver Sarah Cadenhead, 31, of Springdale, Arkansas, had minor injuries, the patrol said. Both were transported by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the road on a curve and struck several trees.
• A Galena, Kansas, woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday on Route JJ, 3 miles south of Carl Junction in Jasper County, the patrol said.
Sierrah Myers, 29, was driven by private vehicle to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin. The driver of the other vehicle, Susan Dale, of Carl Junction, was not injured.
Dale's vehicle attempted a left turn and pulled into the path of Myers' vehicle, the patrol said.
• Two Wentworth residents were injured in a one-vehicle wreck at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 37, 2 miles north of Pierce City in Lawrence County, the patrol said.
Ann Richards, 85, and driver George Richards, 87, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin
