Sevierville,TN : Kentucky woman killed in fiery Sevierville crash, witnesses needed on Sunday afternoon August 31st 2014

The Sevierville Police Department is asking for witnesses to call them if they witnessed a deadly crash around 12:30 p.m. Sunday on Dolly Parton Parkway. Officers say 54-year-old Ricky Hurst, of Sevierville, was driving west and trying to turn left on New Riverside Drive when his truck hit an SUV driven by 55-year-old Eric Dedey, of Pennsylvania. The SUV went off the road and caught fire. The Sevierville Fire Department extinguished the fire and cut several people out of the vehicle. Investigators say a rear seat passenger in the SUV, 77-year old Rebecca Gibson, of Kentucky, died. Dedey and three passengers were taken to LeConte Medical Center with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
