LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after crash in southwest Las Vegas on Sunday, 3rd December 2023

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in the southwest valley.

On Sunday, police responded to a crash near Spring Valley Parkway and Rainbow Boulevard around 7:16 p.m.

According to LVMPD, a 2015 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on Rainbow Blvd, approaching the intersection of Spring Valley Blvd at a high rate of speed, when it crashed into four vehicles that were stopped at the intersection.

The unidentified driver of the Impala was transported to UMC Trauma where he succumbed to his injuries. The 33-year-old driver of a 2014 Toyota Corolla was also transported to UMC with moderate injuries.
