LAKELAND, FL : A 33-year-old Plant City woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Monday, June 19, 2017

A 33-year-old Plant City woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in West Lakeland.
Jennifer Hallman was driving north on County Line Road in a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country van about 3:40 a.m. when she approached a stop sign at Swindell Road, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Hallman, who appeared to be traveling more than the posted speed of 45 mph, traveled through the intersection, struck a cautionary sign indicating vehicles had to turn, and continued north 80 feet until she struck a large oak tree, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Hallman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was found dead by emergency workers at the crash site, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
