Pittsburgh, PA : Victim of fatal Washington Boulevard crash identified on February, Sunday 18th 2018
A Pittsburgh man was killed early Sunday morning after being ejected from his car when it collided with another on Washington Boulevard, the county's medical examiner office said.
James D. Blackburne, 23, was found dead by police about 3:30 a.m. He was pinned under a vehicle.
Officials reported the victim drove his car out of a convenience store parking lot and attempted to make a turn at the intersection of Frankstown Road and Washington Boulevard. During the turn, the victim's car collided with another vehicle and “spun out of control” and the victim was ejected, said a news release from the medical examiner's office.
The driver of the other vehicle reportedly was injured, but no details were available.
Pittsburgh police are investigating.
