Hall County, GA : Driver killed in tractor trailer crash on I-985 in Hall County on Wednesday December 16 2015

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the driver of the tractor trailer killed in an accident that shut down all lanes of I-985 in Hall County for six hours Wednesday morning. All lanes have since reopened.
Brian Zegarzewski, 49, of Fletcher, NC, died at the scene. At the time of the wreck, he was hauling concrete powder in a truck owned by Carolina Ready Mix and Builder Supply, Inc., troopers said.
The accident happened near the Plainview Road bridge in Oakwood just before 6 a.m. Wednesday. The tractor trailer was the only vehicle involved. The driver lost control, according to troopers, and hit a guardrail, causing the truck to flip on its side and slam into the bridge's concrete column.
The impact caused the bridge to shift slightly. Concerned about the safety of the bridge, authorities closed the interstate in both directions.
GDOT inspectors later checked out the bridge and determined it was safe.
Troopers were trying to determine what caused Zegarzewski to lose control.
