FORT COLLINS, CO : Three people were found dead in a burning car after a crash on Thursday, 15th February 2024

Three people were found dead in a burning car after a crash early Thursday morning, Fort Collins police said.

Police said just before 2:30 a.m., a Larimer County Sheriff's deputy came upon a Volkswagen Jetta in the middle of the road in the 5800 block of South Taft Hill Road. The car was on fire, police said, and the deputy saw two people inside who appeared to be deceased. Poudre Fire also responded and firefighters put the fire out. Once they did, a third person was found deceased in the backseat of the car, police said.
