CEDAR FALLS, IA :Two allegedly drunk drivers arrested after collision on Friday, December 23rd 2016
Two motorists were arrested on drunken driving charges after their vehicles collided early Friday.
Cedar Falls police were called to the area of West 26th and Walnut streets shortly after 2 a.m. Friday after a neighbor heard the impact and saw a woman standing in the street allegedly trying to start a fight, according to court records.
No serious injuries were reported from the crash, and when officers arrived, they noticed both drivers had an odor of alcohol and slurred speech, records state. Field sobriety tests were conducted indoors at the Cedar Falls police station because of the extremely low temperatures.
Alexis Cae Kritenbrink, 21, of 706 W. 26th St., Cedar Falls; and Blake Christian Adams, 23, of 1213 Knoll Ave., Waterloo, were arrested for first-offense operating while intoxicated. Both were later released from jail.
