Rose Hill, NC : 55-year-old Rose Hill man killed in a hit-and-run wreck Saturday night on October 18, 2014

Duplin County deputies are looking for a car that struck and killed a man riding a moped. Authorities told local media outlets a burgundy or maroon Honda Accord was making a left turn around 8 p.m. Saturday when it hit the moped driver at an intersection near Rose Hill. The Honda driver did not stop. Troopers say the car is likely missing its front bumper and a headlight. Deputies say the moped driver died at the scene of the crash. His name has not been released.
