A woman was killed and a man was arrested after a crash in Roselawn Wednesday night.
Police say Phillip Young, of Norwood, was operating a vehicle under the influence and at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car and crash into a pole, arrest records state.
The front seat passenger, Ladonna Gunn, was killed in the crash, police said.
The crash happened in the 2200 block of Seymour Avenue minutes before midnight, according to police records. Young, 42, was arrested at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center about 30 minutes later.
Young was charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide after police said he drove recklessly and at a high rate of speed on Seymour Avenue while under the influence, records state. Police said Young lost control of his 2007 Chevrolet Impala and struck a pole in the crash.
Young is currently being held in the Hamilton County jail. He will be arraigned in Hamilton County Municipal Court Friday morning.
