Two students and a driver were taken by EMS to the hospital from the scene of a bus crash Friday morning. The Highway Patrol shows the wreck was at 6:42am on Glenn Springs Road at Whitestone Road in Spartanburg Co.
Our 7News crew at the scene reports the bus was from Spartanburg District 3. Two students from Broome High and the driver were the only people on the bus and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. The highway patrol says the bus driver crossed the center line and ran off the road. The bus ended up in a deep ditch with the front end touching a tree. The highway patrol is investigating what caused the driver to crash.
