Lancaster, SC : Motorcyclist dies in Indian Land crash on Monday, September 25th 2017

A motorcyclist was killed early Monday after he was struck by two vehicles in Indian Land.
The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Breck Higgins, 49, of Lancaster.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Gary Miller said the collision happened about 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Marvin and Henry Harris roads, about 3 miles outside Fort Mill.
Miller identified the other two drivers as Joseph Michael Hatten of Indian Land and John Joseph Donohue of Fort Mill.
Hatten was driving a 1996 Toyota SUV. Donohue was driving a 2002 Lincoln sedan, and Higgins was riding a 2004 Big Dog custom motorcycle.
Miller said Hatten and Donohue were headed east on Marvin Road and Higgins was traveling north on Henry Harris Road.
Miller said Higgins attempted to turn right onto Marvin Road and was struck by Hatten.
Higgins, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and then struck by Donohue.
Hatten, who was wearing a seat belt, was injured and taken to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment. His condition is not known.
Donohue, who was also wearing a seat belt, was not hurt.
The collision remains under investigation.
