New Windsor, MD : 23-year-old New Windsor man dies, others injured in single-vehicle crash in the area of New Windsor Road (Md. 31) and Coe Drive on Sunday, 8th July 2018

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday evening in the area of New Windsor Road (Md. 31) and Coe Drive.

At about 6:35 p.m. fire, EMS and Sheriff’s Office personnel found a Jeep Cherokee SUV that had overturned in the westbound shoulder of the road, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the vehicle was traveling east on New Windsor Road when its right wheels went off the road, according to the release.
