Arlington, TX : Three people killed when car veers into oncoming traffic on Sunday evening, November 20, 2016

Police in North Texas say three people are dead after their car veered into oncoming traffic and was struck by two other vehicles.

Arlington police say the three occupants of the car were trapped inside following the Sunday evening wreck. A passenger died at the scene and the driver and a second passenger later died at a hospital.

People in the other two vehicles were not injured.

Police say it’s not immediately clear why the car crossed the center line into northbound traffic.
