Austin,TX : DPS identifies victim of fatal Orange Co. wreck on may, monday 8th 2017

All lanes of TX 62 near FM 1130 in Orange are currently closed following a 12 p.m. wreck that killed one person.

The Mauriceville-area wreck occurred when Celso Perez, of Orange, lost control of the Chevrolet truck he was driving and crossed the center line, hitting an 18-wheeler traveling northbound, the Department of Public Safety said.
Perez, of Orange, was pronounced dead at the scene, the department also said. The 18-wheeler was treated for minor injuries.
All lanes of traffic on TX 62 in that area remain closed.
