Two people were injured Monday night in St. Cloud in a three-vehicle collision involving a semitrailer, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A Buick Regal, driven by Daniel Franck, 36, of St. Cloud, a Chrysler Town & Country, driven by Gary Bock, 71, of Brainerd, and an International semi driven by Rodney Meyer, 64, of Montevideo, were all eastbound on Division Street, near 25th Avenue S, according to the report.

The Buick Regal stopped quickly after a sudden traffic light change. The Chrysler Town & Country was following the Buick Regal and also stopped suddenly. The semi, which was behind the Town & Country, was not able to stop in time and rear-ended the vehicle, according to the report.

The Town & Country then hit the Regal after behind pushed forward by the semi, according to the report.

The report said St. Cloud Police Department had multiple squads responding to an emergency call, which caused confusion with traffic lights in the area.

St. Cloud Police Assistant Chief Jeff Oxton said multiple officers responded to an 8:11 p.m. report of a fight in the 400 Block of 26th Avenue North. Police were unable to determine whether any crime had occurred, according to Oxton.

Bock and his passenger, Charlotte Bock, 75, of Brainerd, suffered injuries the state patrol didn't consider life-threatening.

Rodney suffered no apparent injury, according to the report. Franck's injuries were not documented in the incident report.
