Chula Vista, CA : Three people injured after a two-car collision in Chula Vista on Saturday, February 27, 2016

Three people remained hospitalized Sunday after a two-car collision Saturday in Chula Vista, a police official said.

The vehicle driver ran a red light, hit another car and was arrested on a charge of felony drunken driving, and was also hospitalized, said Lt. Dan Peak of the Chula Vista Police Department.

The collision was reported at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Paseo Ladera and Telegraph Canyon Road.

Passengers in the speeding car were seriously hurt, Peak said. One of them left the hospital after being treated for injuries.

Police did not provide either the name of the arrested driver or any of those injured.
