Knoxville, TN : Car crash in west Knox County causes power outage on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2014

Dozens of people should have power restored by the end of Wednesday morning. A two car crash caused the outage at about 1 a.m. According to deputies on scene, one car ran off Northshore Drive just west of Choto Road. Then it hit a power pole. A truck following behind ran over some of the downed lines. No one was hurt. Lenoir City Utilities Board workers say 30 customers don't have power.
