Allentown, PA : An armored truck crash on Tuesday, November, 7th 2017

An armored truck crashed in the snow Tuesday afternoon on an Interstate 81 off-ramp in Schuylkill County and had to be towed from the scene, police said.

Dorothy Henry, 28, of Wilkes-Barre, was steering the truck from northbound I-81 on a tight curve to Route 309 at 2:35 p.m. when it slid on the snow into a concrete barrier, state police at Frackville said.The heavy truck bounced off the barrier but then slammed back into it and stopped on the ramp in Kline Township, six miles north of Tamaqua, Trooper Edward Sanchez said.

Neither Henry nor her passenger, Devin J. Green, 22, of Kingston, Luzerne County, was injured. Henry was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, police said.
