BRANDON, MN : Four injured in two-vehicle crash an Interstate 94 on Sunday, 21st October 2018
Two people were ejected from a vehicle during an Interstate 94 vehicle crash west of Brandon in Douglas County on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. when the 2009 Nissan Versa carrying five occupants was passing the 2006 Toyota Sequoia carrying three. The car then veered off the roadway and rolled.
As a result, two people in the Nissan were ejected from the vehicle, and four total were transported to a nearby hospital.
Nissan driver Rashid Abdi Hassan, 46, and passengers Abshiro S Gabow, 55, Hawo A Hessen, 16, and Duba Abdullahi Yussuf, 60, suffered injuries in the crash. The fifth passenger, Abdikadir Muhumed Abdullahi, 26, was unharmed. They live in Fargo-Moorhead.
The occupants of the other vehicle were driver Jennifer Moser, 46, of Bismarck and passengers Sophia Isabelle Moser, 16, and Cruise Bronson Moser, 13. They did not suffer any injuries, according to the release.
