Pewaukee, WI : Pedestrian hit by car on I-94 in Pewaukee Wednesday evening, May 25, 2016

A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was struck by a car on I-94 in Pewaukee Wednesday evening, officials said.

He had been walking outside of his own vehicle around 6 p.m. when the car hit him.

Witness stopped to help him until first responders arrived.

He was flown to the hospital by Flight for Life.

All eastbound lanes of I-94 eastbound at County Highway T were closed while crews work to clear the crash.

The Sheriff's Office did not say the extent of the man's injuries.
