WILBRAHAM, MA : A 22-year-old man was killed on Monday, August 21, 2017
A 22-year-old man was killed late Monday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding went out of control and crashed into the Soule Road School building.
Wilbraham Police Capt. Robert Zollo said in a press release that police responded to 300 Soule Road just before 5 p.m. after a 911 caller said that a motorcycle hit the building and a man was unconscious on the sidewalk. The victim was found unresponsive and bleeding from his head.
He was transported by the Wilbraham Fire Department ambulance to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where was pronounced dead.
The man's name was not released pending notification of his family.
The accident is being investigated by Wilbraham police and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
