Orlando, FL : Pedestrian was killed after a crash in Lockhart on Saturday, June 3, 2017

pedestrian was killed Saturday evening after a crash in Lockhart, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Jaquavious Brown, 22, was driving south on Forest City Road when a 59-year-old man walked into the road, directly in front of his SUV, highway patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

Brown’s SUV slammed into the pedestrian, identified Sunday as James Armstrong, 59 of Orlando.

Armstrong was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Troopers are still investigating the crash that was west of Interstate 4.
