Beavercreek, OH : Power restored to Greene Co. residents following crash on Monday afternoon, July 11, 2016
More than 800 people were without power Monday afternoon following a crash.
It happened just before 12:30 p.m. around Trebein and Ankeney Roads in Xenia when a car hit a guy wire and “live wires coming down on [the] car,” according to a statement from a DP&L spokeswoman. “We were asked to cut the power on that circuit while first responders could safely remove the driver from the vehicle.”
The crash knocked out power to area residents but it was restored before 3 p.m.
Dayton Power and Light crews are on scene and do not have an estimated time to restore power.
