Enon, OH : 2-semi crash causes fuel leak on I-70 eastbound near State Route 4 on Saturday, 12th January 2019
A crash involving two semi-trucks caused a fuel leak during a snow emergency on Interstate 70 in Enon Saturday.
State troopers, firefighters, medics and Hazmat responded to the fiery wreck in the snow on I-70 eastbound near State Route 4 just after 9 p.m.
Firefighters extinguished flames from one of the semi-trucks after the crash, according to Springfield Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers.The far two lanes of the highway were blocked for several hours as crews worked to clean up the accident. The left lane remained open.
The driver of one of the trucks was transported to Springfield Regional Medical Center with minor injuries, according to dispatch logs.
Clark County was under a Level 1 Snow Emergency at the time of the crash.
Springfield Ohio State Highway Patrol and Enon and Bethel Township fire departments were at the scene.
