Sacramento County, CA : 5 hospitalized after Sacramento County crash on Sunday, 15th August 2021

Five people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento County, officials said.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Blacktop Road and Elkhorn Boulevard, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said. One of the victims was extricated by fire personnel.UC Davis was notified that five people -- one of them critically injured -- would be transported their way.

It is unknown what caused the crash.
