Dothan, AL : Grady man dies in vehicle crash north of Troy on Sunday, 30th October 2016

A single-vehicle crash at 2:15 a.m. Sunday claimed the life of Grady man.
Marcus T. Barnes, 35, was killed when the 1989 Chevrolet 1500 he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, according to Trooper Kevin Cook with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Barnes, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Jerry Williams. The preliminary investigation indicates that speed and alcohol might have been factors in the crash.
The crash occurred on Pike County 1101 approximately 10 miles north of Troy. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
