Port Byron, IL : 1 dead in Port Byron UTV accident on Friday, 22nd March 2024

A man is dead after a UTV accident Friday night in Port Byron.Rock Island County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Ninth Avenue in Port Byron on Friday, March 22 at about 10:27 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 53 year old man trapped under an overturned UTV. They immediately attempted life saving measures but were unsuccessful. Two other men in the UTV received minor injuries.
