Cape Coral, FL : One passenger dies after fall from pickup truck on Thursday ,July 9th 2015

A passenger who was hospitalized after falling from the bed of a pickup truck has died.

The crash happened around in the 800 block of SW 4th Street around 10 p.m. on July 9th.

Cape Coral Police say 23-year-old Timothy Francis Holland was riding in the back of a pickup truck and fell out of the vehicle as it was leaving the parking lot of Stevie Tomato’s Sports Page.

Holland was taken to a local hospital. He died Saturday morning as a result of his injuries.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
