Tampa,FL : 80-year-old woman killed on April, saturday 29th 2017

An 80-year-old woman died Saturday night after the car she was driving hit a palm tree, according to St. Petersburg police.

At about 9 p.m., Lillie P. Addison was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier north in the 1700 block of 16th Street S. The Cavalier drifted into the center turn lane, then hit a raised median and continued head-on into a palm tree, police said.

Addison was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and pronounced dead just after 10 p.m.
