A motorcyclist was killed in fatal crash Near San Diego, California

A motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon in a collision with a pickup truck near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
The fatal crash in the 8300 block of Miramar Road occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The rider died at the scene. His name was not immediately available.
The truck's driver was not hurt, 10News learned.The westbound and eastbound sides of the street were blocked as authorities conducted their investigation.
The scene was finally cleared just before 6:30 p.m.
