Lowell, N.C : Power outage caused by car crash on Thursday night, February 5, 2015

Power is back on in Lowell after a car crashed into a power pole Thursday night on North Main Street.

The street was blocked off at Interstate 85 for hours while Duke Energy crews tried to restore power to about 1,200 people.
The accident happened a little after 4 p.m. There were no serious injuries.
