Yakima, WA : A Cle Elum woman and an Everett woman were injured in a two-vehicle collision on May, Friday, 12th 2017
A Cle Elum woman and an Everett woman were injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday on Interstate 90, five miles west of Ellensburg.
Morgan Patterson, 24, of Cle Elum was driving a 1999 silver Toyota Land Cruiser eastbound in the left lane at 8:45 a.m. according to Washington State Patrol. Patterson lost control of the Land Cruiser and swung into right lane striking another vehicle.
Nancy Robbins, 64, of Everett was driving a 2011 silver Chevrolet Impala eastbound in the right lane when she was struck by Patterson, according to the WSP. Both vehicle came to rest in the eastbound ditch.
Both Patterson and Robbins were injured and taken to KVH Hospital in Ellensburg.
The cause of the crash is suspected to be distracted driving and Patterson faces charges of second-degree negligent driving, according to the WSP.
