Fairfield, CA : Suisun City man dies in crash near Napa Valley College early Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016

A 22-year-old Suisun City resident was killed in an early Tuesday morning crash near Napa Valley College.

Ronnie Robinson had just left his job at The Meritage Resort in Napa about 11:45 p.m. The California Highway Patrol got a call about 12:13 a.m. of a solo crash on southbound Highway 221, north of Streblow Drive.

Robinson, traveling at unknown speed, let his 1995 Honda Accord drift off the right shoulder, according to the CHP. He lost control and the car flipped several times, landing on its roof. He was partially ejected and died at the scene.

One southbound lane of the roadway was closed for about an hour while the crash was investigated.
